This drawing features the KOO-roh-koo-moh Gregor identity from Limbus Company and was created entirely as a result of a pun on the title of the series KAH-goo-rah-BAH-chee. The artist used this piece as an opportunity to experiment with a new coloring style, different from their previous works. The result, in the artist’s view, turned out quite well, making it a playful yet personally meaningful addition to their portfolio.

Hello, I’m unower_s. Most of the art I make derivesfrom my passion for characters, whether they’re from an old classic novel or a video game I just can’t seem to put down. I grew up watching a lot of anime and tried emulating the style with everything I came across, which, embarrassingly, included the characters from school assigned readings. As time went on, I found that my scribbles helped me get more invested and look deeper into the characters, especially for classic literature. Some of them may have originally been exaggerated in their sources to further a plot, but I like to pick apart their words and actions to make them seem more human. When drawing, I find that to me, the easiest way to do this is with the subtleties in facial expressions. My hope is that people are able to witness the subtle hints and try to understand what a character is feeling or thinking in these snapshots of time in their worlds.
