Celebration
Medium: Mixed Media
When I relocated to Singapore six years ago, I noticed the nation's rich diversity of cultures, ethnicities, and religions coexisting harmoniously. The welcoming and tolerant community quickly made me feel at home. Each neighborhood provides a Church, Mosque, or Temple to accommodate residents' religious practices freely. Various religious celebrations are observed with days off for all, promoting interaction and learning among people. The main ethnic groups in Singapore are Chinese, Malays, and Indians, who have peacefully coexisted since the country's inception. Furthermore, expatriates from various backgrounds like the French, English, Americans, Chinese, Indians, Indonesians, and more contribute to the local economy, enriching Singapore as a diverse and unique nation. This artwork beautifully portrays the blend of cultures and ethnicities in Singapore.
